This weekend was filled with high fevers, throwing-up, and crying. Poor, poor Addy had an awful weekend. She ended up being sick to her stomach all day yesterday and today. I had to move her into our room at just after midnight last night in order to keep a closer eye on her. It always amazes how much room such a little person can take. I had an arm and or a leg on me at all times during the night. Keep in mind it was a feverishly hot arm or leg. Took care of her while she threw up on her Dad twice. Had a nice long chat at 1:30 a.m. with a super nurse from Children's. Matt and I were sleeping with one eye open and a towel in our hands to be ready just in case. This morning was not any better! I have had to wash her blankie twice, our sheets along with the comforter and an ungodly amount of towels. Not to mention our regularly scheduled laundry! As I am writing, I can still hear the whir of the dryer. Addysen needed a bath of course, but shortly after the bath, she needed a shower! I found her lying on the floor in the living room several times today. She says she doesn't want to go to bed. I know she is uncomfortable, and there is not much I can do for her. That is the hardest part. I am hoping tomorrow goes better for her. And for me too I suppose. All of my help goes back to work and school!
