Golden Gate Canyon
It was a gorgeous day yesterday! Aside from the 50mph wind gusts, it was actually very nice. The wind was helpful in keeping the temperatures down, without the wind it would've been near 90! That is very for warm for May in Colorado. The only snag on the ride up was a bloody nose that Alexys had. We sang crazy songs and listened to the oldest girls argue. While we were there, we had a picnic, and went on a hike. Grandma and Grandpa Lucci came with us and we also had "Aunt" Elaine. Most people run the opposite direction of our family, Elaine calls to see what we are doing, and then comes with us! They say we are crazy for having all these kids, maybe she is crazier for volunteering to be around them!
We all had a nice time. After the hike, we decided to take a tour of Coors. The short tour mind you. This means we skip the actual tour and head straight for the free beer. On the way to Coors, poor Garhett threw-up his entire picnic lunch. I even had to use my new jacket from Pikes Peak to catch everything! We did get him cleaned up and back on the road. I think after that incident, he probably needed a beer also!
